Ashley Graham is from Lincoln, Nebraska. She grew up with her two sisters who were younger, and was regularly bullied at school due to her sizeable thighs. Graham appeared in the news once more in 2009, after she was featured in the controversial Lane Bryant commercial that ultimately was banned in many countries. By the time the commercial was taken off YouTube, it had been watched by more than 800,000. The controversy escalated to the point that Graham was a guest on Jay Leno on "The Tonight Show." Graham was well-known and is one of most popular plus-size women in the world today. Grande began singing and acting when she was young. Her first appearance was a minor role on Broadway's play 13 in the year 2008. Soon after she started acting on different television shows. The part she played on Victorious which was a Nickelodeon TV show, in the year 2010 was her first big breakthrough. She played Cat Valentine a teenage girl who was attending a performance art school. The show ended in 2013, and she was a part of the spinoff show, Sam & Cat.
